NH PLACE 2024-25: NH PLACE

The goal of NH PLACE is to support teacher development of performance learning and performance tasks to be used by teachers in the classroom. Taking the positive learning from the PACE project, PLACE additionally focuses on individual classroom assessment needs, performance learning, and the context of each learning community.

The project will be led by teacher leaders who will work with experts to design professional development for teachers specific to assessment and content needs. Teachers will also lead their peers in a collaborative process to develop performance learning and tasks to be shared with all NH teachers.

PLACE Subject Introduction

The NH PLACE Science team will begin new professional development and task design this summer 2025.

Science teachers in grades K-5 and 6-12 interested in the project should register for NH PLACE and they will participate in science professional development starting this summer. Task development and professional learning will be ongoing during the 2025-26 school year.

The NH PLACE ELA  team will begin new professional development and task design this summer 2025.

ELA teachers in grades 5-12 interested in the project should register for NH PLACE ELA during the 2025-265 school year. Professional development will start this summer. Task development and professional learning will be ongoing during the 2025-26 school year.

The NH PLACE MATH team will begin new professional development and task design this summer 2025.

MATH teachers in grades K-5 and 6-12 interested in the project should register for NH PLACE MATH during the 2024-25 school year. Professional development will start this summer. Task development and professional learning will be ongoing during the 2025-26 school year.

The NH PLACE SOCIAL STUDIES team will begin team will begin new professional development modules this summer 2025.  They will continue to create this modules during the 2025-26 school year.

The NH PLACE INTERDISCIPLINARY team will begin new professional development modules this summer 2025.  They will continue to create this modules during the 2025-26 school year.
