Mariane Gfroerer is a Director of Innovative Projects for the New Hampshire Learning Initiative and oversees both the NH PACE work in competency and student-centered education and the joint NHLI-SNHU Masters/CAGS Program in Competency Based Systems and Leadership. She holds an advanced degree in Psychology and Counseling and has extensive experience supporting students with learning challenges through many years of direct work with schools and private practice. She provided statewide leadership for 22 years with the NH Department of Education as the State Director of School Counseling and Psychology and the State PACE Director. She is a program director and an adjunct professor with Southern New Hampshire University as well as with many other NH colleges and universities in the areas of psychology, counseling, sociology, health psychology, anthropology (geriatrics), leadership, and competency education.
