Heather Wheeler has been an educator for 18 years. She currently teaches Chemistry and Biology at Sanborn Regional High School where she has taught for 6 years and serves as the Science Department Team Lead. Heather has been a physical science and biology content lead and is currently a chemistry content lead for the State of New Hampshire’s pilot project for Performance Assessment for Competency Education (PACE). Heather is passionate about performance based learning and has been a keynote speaker and workshop presenter on the topics of performance assessment and performance instruction for NHLI, Seresc, NH Science Teachers, and NCME. When she is not teaching, Heather loves to read, hike, trailrun and hang out with her husband, their four children and her dog.
