PLC is one of the most misunderstood terms in education. A true Professional Learning Community understands it’s mission, has a clear vision for fulfilling that mission, holds each other accountable for putting students first, and has a laser focus on learning and seeking information to help them be more effective. In this session, Jonathan, Jill, and Jennifer, all educators who serve or have served in nationally recognized model Professional Learning Communities, will provide clear examples and guidance on the structures to deepen collaboration in your school. Participants will leave with a better understanding of what a Professional Learning Community truly is, with clear next steps for how to move forward. (Session 3 in a 3-part Series)

Participants will understand and apply the structures of Professional Learning Communities; Participants will reflect on their own schools through various resources to determine their current reality; Participants will develop actionable next steps to deepen their collaborative structures in their own schools.
