Successful performance assessments involve not only quality performance assessment design, but also an instructional design that supports a quality student performance. This workshop provides some insight into how to design instruction to support learners.
Participants will develop strategies to design performance-based instruction; Will access and use tools to develop performance assessment for NGSS standards; Will use phenomena to increase engagement in the science and engineering practices in the classroom; Will explore ways to transfer performance-based instruction to remote learning.
