S2-Q Student-Centered Leadership Learning Community (SCLLC):

Thinking and Planning for Academic Year 20-21

(Limited to NH Educators)

Thursday, July 16

Session 2

1 -- 2:30 (ET)

Orange Leadership & System Design & Structures Blue Student-Centered and Personalized Learning

Join us for the kickoff meeting for the SCLLC.  It is challenging to lead a community of educators and students when building a student-centered learning system that provides equitable opportunities for all students. There are many important pieces that need to be in place for the system to truly support the transformation. Convene with your fellow district leaders to learn from and share best practices. This forum provides the opportunity for your system and school leaders to work collaboratively to address problems of practice and share successes.

Participants will reflect on current policies and practices as they engage in the “Change Readiness Tool” in order to develop a process for shared leadership to promote growth through reflection and collaboration. (Who, What, Why and How); Analyze current systems and structures related to the promotion of student agency, the development of knowledge, skills and dispositions as well as the collection of learning evidence to inform competency; Develop a action plan for next steps in review of current structures for CBE and next steps for building a collaborative process that supports continued growth or initial shifts in the areas of leadership, instruction and student agency.
