Red Competency-Based Learning Blue Student-Centered and Personalized Learning

In our new reality of remote learning, we take you through the process of science task development in a virtual learning environment.  We will address challenges such as how to have students work in groups, how to assign jobs, and how to supply materials every student can use by downloading or printing (as well as alternatives if printing is not available).  We will also be discussing outdoor investigations such as citizen science projects that do not require any materials and can be accessed by all students.  We will share interactive tools to engage students and how to incorporate these tools into activities including digital escape rooms and digital scavenger hunts using Google Forms.

Methods for creating and/or modifying tasks for remote learning; An inventory of tools for creating digital escape rooms and digital scavenger hunts; Knowledge about Citizen Science Projects.
